Message	the same you'd probably hear from many on this forum, in terms of dabbling in all things automotive from an early age. That's great, that your Dad and brother and you all share the same passion for cars. That common interest not only provides a topic over which you've bonded with each other, but it'll serve you financially too -- as you save, over your lifetime, on car repairs! It does sound like the previous owner of your Z had done some mods, and removed them prior to selling.
